AbTech Announces Stormwater Solutions Roll-Out with Waste Management in California, Canada, and U.S. Southeast

AbTech Holdings, Inc. ("AbTech") (OTCBB: ABHD) announced that the company and its distributor, Waste Management, Inc., have begun the roll-out of AbTech's full-service stormwater solutions offerings in California, Canada, and parts of the U.S. Southeast. The companies had previously announced the initial service offering in the Los Angeles area.

AbTech previously announced that Waste Management would serve as the exclusive distributor of its flagship SmartSponge® product line to municipalities located in North America. AbTech's proprietary technologies remove hydrocarbons, sediment and other contaminants from lakes, streams, stormwater pipes, oceans or any body of water, moving or standing, and the company now offers the ground-breaking new antimicrobial technology called Smart Sponge ® Plus. This technology reduces coliform bacteria found in stormwater, industrial wastewater, and municipal wastewater (EPA Registration #86256-1),
 
As part of the roll-out, AbTech and Waste Management are deploying teams of stormwater experts to cities in California, Canada, and states in Southeastern United States, and plan to continue this expansion in the coming months to the mid-Atlantic, Northeastern and Great Lakes regions.
